We build stronger communities, foster wellbeing and combat loneliness by bringing younger and older people together via extraordinary creative activities. From our base in Tower Hamlets, we're one of the leading voices in intergenerational exchange.
35 years of intergenerational arts
Founded in 1989 by Susan Langford CBE, Magic Me brings the generations together through the arts. Our pioneering work builds more resilient and integrated societies, focussing on the real concerns and interests of the community. In a typical Magic Me project, 7 year olds and 70 year olds are equal partners – whether they’re making puppets, filming a documentary or co-creating a 5 storey high mural.
